Gluten Free Information

  • Cross Contamination--Every effort is made to avoid cross contamination: however since gluten is present in our kitchen, we cannot guarantee that your product is 100% gluten free.
Delorio's gluten free shells are 100% gluten free and made ina  gluten free environment.  They are also  supported by the Gluten Free Certification Organizations. (GFCO) and Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) and Celiac Disease Foundation.
  • The shells are made of Rice flour.  Ask a Maria's employee for the list of ingredients.
  • The regular wheat shells sold at Maria's are made offsite which lessens any chance of flour in the air.  No pure flour is used in the Maria's kitchen.
  • Toppings-Hormel pepperoni is gluten free, also per the Consumer Affairs at Amour-Eckrich, makers of Margerita Pepperoni, there are no ingredients that contain gluten in the pepperoni.  All vegetables used at Maria's are gluten free.
  • All salad dressings are gluten-free including ranch, italian, french, honey mustard, blue cheese and oil & vinegar.
  • Maria's uses dedicated pizza cutters and pizza paddle while preparing the pizza.
  • Parchment paper or foil is placed between the pizza and the prep station to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Maria's Gluten Free Sub Rolls are also made in a gluten-free environment and the same cross contamination prevents are used when preparing the product
